Let’s explore the brand new Lamborghini Huracan EVO, the new and improved V10 powered Italian supercar! With an opportunity to drive the car both on the road and on track in Bahrain, we truly discover everything there is to know about the new model.
Based on the successful platform of the Lamborghini Huracan LP610 and Performance, the new Huracan EVO improves on an already solid base. With the 5.2l NA V10 now making 640PS and 600nm, 0-100km/h is dispatched in just 2.9 seconds thanks to the all-wheel-drive and 7 speed DCT. Introduced for the EVO are a number of new technologies including LDVI with a computer calculating inputs in just 20ms to optimise the drive, and managing the rear wheel steer amongst other aspects.
With an opportunity to go into serious detail we can cover all of the elements of the car from a look around the exterior, to fully running through the technology available on the interior. There is of course also the chance to drive it both on the roads of Bahrain and multiple stints on track at the Bahrain International Circuit, with plenty of time to get to grips and get a real idea of what it’s about. A special moment for me also to drive under the floodlights at the circuit come night fall, and a hot lap with Lamborghini driver, Jeroen Mul. http://instagram.com/jeroenmul
